As some of my followers may know

I’m a proud member of Triangle Fraternity (yes Triangle. It’s not a damn delta). 

This week is national hazing prevention week and it always gets me thinking how someone can view hazing as acceptable to brotherhood. I’m not saying this to make my chapter sound good but we don’t haze. Simple as this. WE.DO.NOT.HAZE. It’s not accepted in my chapter and frankly we think it’s all stupid and disgusting. 

So maybe some of you out there will see this post and notice that your chapters do haze (if not then that’s awesome and you are a great example to greek life!) But if you see this post and realize your brothers or sisters haze then ask yourself why. Why do you need to to tear down to build your brotherhood/sisterhood? Why can’t you instead build that chapter unity through healthy actitivies and time spent living your values set forth in your ritual. 

And if you don’t like hazing but you see it going on then do your founder’s proud and take a stand. Say no to hazing and humiliation and say yes to your principles. 

Together we can end hazing and build better men and women.
